Come sail away

One of my husband's former co-workers is retiring to sail around the world. No, I am not kidding. They are headed for the Carribbean and Mexico this fall, and they plan to be in Belize later this year. Check out their Web page, which details their plans and the destinations they will visit. I have promised them that if they let Clay and I tag along, we will not take up too much room. And we'll be on our best behavior. Girl Scout's honor.

I am green with envy. BUT I am not an open-water type of girl. I'd stick strictly to sailing up and down coasts, never too far from the sight of land. Something about being adrift with nothing but ocean for miles and miles around gives me the heebie jeebies. I even felt that way on my honeymoon cruise, and we were on a HUGE ship. I like getting away, but not that far away, KWIM?

Ok Nicole...are you stalking me????

Susan is my totally awesome aunt!

I couldn't believe she finally retired. We'll see when she and Lon finally leave.

Man it's a small world.

You are KIDDING!? Hubby worked with her for ages at St. D! So glad she's finally getting away. It sounds absolutely HEAVENLY, and I am soooo expecting postcards.

Nope not kidding...Ask them, "I" was the reason they never had kids...Well that's the family joke anyway!

When I was a little girl, they kept me for a weekend of more than they could handle kiddie fun. Then it just worked out they never had kids...so naturally it was MY fault! LOLOLOL
