Kiss me, I'm Irish!

Mal's St. Paddy's Day Parade is coming up on March 21, and I will be marching this year!

Come on out, and I'll throw you something!

We can live it up at the post-parade street party, as I plan to be there, too.

Who's with me??!!

I'll be there. I have not been to the parade in ages, but the kids are old enough now they would enjoy it.

Maybe I'll run into you! If I see you guys in the crowd (and if I have anything left to toss by then), I'll throw you something!

I'm thrilled that you're going to be part of the parade ... I know it's fun to throw beads and candy, but Nicole, we won't be there. I took Adeline when she was 4, and I was seriously grossed out by some of the floats. There was a grown woman in schoolgirl getup, dancing in a cage. There was all manner of middle-age sluttiness. Before you call me a stick in the mud, which I probably am, just know that my daughter is at the age now where she's asking questions. I don't want her to think it's acceptable in any way to act like that. So we won't be at the parade.

Sorry ..

Well, I will be marching in jeans and a T-shirt, so no peep show there.

I can't vouch for all the SPQs, though. You're right, there are definitely some middle-aged women out there letting their hair (and other things) down!
