Old, old lady

So my 32nd birthday is coming up, and I'm taking suggestions - How should I celebrate?

I was pregnant on my 30th birthday and breastfeeding on my 31st, so no drinks! Aaack! Needless to say, THIS year's celebration must involve lots of alcohol, but other than that, I'm flexible.

Any ideas? Probably no out-of-town trips, because I'm starting back to work Monday (and trying to plan a New Orleans weekend for early February). Big party at home? Big party at a restaurant/bar? Lots of little celebrations with different folks ( my usual M.O.)?

I'm *thinking* of getting a tattoo in honor of the occasion. Am I crazy?

Thirty-TWO??? WHOA!

(I'm not invited anymore, am I?)

If you do go with the tattoo option, I'm with you, homey. I want to get my angel worked on, so I'll get mine touched up at the same time that you do yours.

Best of luck tomorrow.

I hear Jack and Metamucil is killer, so you probably want to avoid that.

Seriously, though, you want a tattoo? What do you want one of? Should I ask where?

I love planning birthday shindigs!!! I know whatever you end up doing will be a blast. I turned 32 in October and hardly felt it, so chances are, a tattoo at 32 would be equally painless. :-)

If you are old, what am I? I'm turning 35 in 17 days. Getting a tattoo this year too, if I ever get around to deciding what I want. Hopefully going to New Orleans with hubby to celebrate.

We need a GNO/birthday party.

Stacey - I'm never speaking to you again.

Sandi - I'm thinking of something on my arm or wrist. Something small, in Arabic. Maybe just one word. My other idea is something on the right side of my lower back.

Birthday party - out or at the house? Thoughts? Regardless, I need to get my butt in gear on it.

Great. Thanks, Nicole. Now I feel REALLY old. :/

Stace - we are totally on for the tattoos. Help me decide what tattoo parlor to go to.

Supermom - Sorry, not my intention!
